Black Oak Mountain Vineyards is an exciting new modern venue situated on historic land dating back to the 1850s Gold Rush days of California with the small hamlet of notable Cool, CA nearby. Black Oak is private and secluded, less than 1 hour from Sacramento or 2 hours from San Francisco, but a world away from all the hustle and bustle. Black Oak Mountain Vineyards is on 150 acres of gorgeous rolling hills with stunning mountaintop views, a newly planted olive orchard, iconic heritage oak trees dot the hillsides, springtime native flowers abound and there are acres of planted grapevines, and even future plans for lavender fields. The photo ops are endless!
Black Oak Mountain Vineyards is ideal for romantic weddings, fun-loving family gatherings, corporate team building and meetings, even a yoga retreat or spiritual gathering, will be enjoyed and appreciated at this beautiful venue. Additionally, the ownership will work with film companies, commercial shoots or private photo sessions.
Weddings: Marry underneath the spreading branches of a majestic valley oak with the option for at least three locations. Black Oak 360 Hilltop (which is on the highest point of the property with views for days!) Or at the Grand Oak, which is very close to the impressive gated entrance, surrounded by rows of grapevines and close walking distance to the Black Oak Modern Barn. Or for easy convenience, marry in the lawn and garden area immediately behind the Modern Barn. By utilizing the Modern Barn, the bridal party may dress and prepare in the second-floor loft style luxury dressing rooms. A relaxing lounge area with sweet balcony overlooking the vineyards separate the two rooms so (in theory) ladies can get ready on one side, and the groom and his gents on the other.
Parties or Wedding Receptions: The barn is a modern building with open exposed industrial beams and gleaming polished cement floors. We love the feel of rustic blending so well with modern – all in a natural setting. A pergola and lawn area are immediately outside for dining al fresco or for enjoying corn hole, unique basket chair swings and even a fire pit. By utilizing the outdoor space and inside the barn, 200 can be accommodated. An intimate gathering of 80 will fit inside the barn for dinner or meeting space. Dancing inside the barn would be very easy and convenient.
For the Ultimate Luxury Experience: The opportunity to enjoy the private Main Estate is available; perfection for any gathering. The contemporary estate sits at the highest point of the 150 acres, with lush lawns, patio spaces and a cool ultra-modern desert landscaped garden upon entry to the Main Estate. A stylish wedding ceremony can be held on a “floating platform” or a bit higher up on the 360 Hilltop. Dine and party alongside the crystal-clear infinity salt-water pool and gaze out to the stunning rolling hills and valleys with Sierra Nevada views. Chat with friends by the fire pits or the unique gas firetable poolside, as well as enjoy the interior of the Main Estate with its soaring ceilings, wall to wall windows and modern luxurious furnishings. We envision a caterer setting up a demonstration style dining experience in the open format kitchen. The Main Estate has a sumptuous master bedroom and two guest rooms (the bathrooms are gorgeous!) Arrangements may be made for overnight accommodations; discuss with the venue the details. You really can party like a rock star here at Black Oak Mountain Vineyards! For corporate functions or workshops at the Main Estate, there is WIFI, Ethernet and two large TV screens for video presentations.
