Bluestone Meadow is located in “Apple Hill” Country in El Dorado County. This venue has a fun entrance as the driveway winds through lavender fields with whimsical signage and eclectic garden art.

As a wedding venue, there are three options to hold a wedding ceremony. First, the most popular is the slightly elevated terraced decking within the shady grove of pine trees. Second, is the ceremony site up the hill on the open lawn in front of the estate house. The views overlook the venue and distant hills and trees. Third, is on an open lawn with a graceful wrought iron gazebo structure. When it is lavender season and the plants are in bloom there is a lot of purple/blue beauty!

For receptions, Bluestone Meadow has a centrally located, large, all white tent, open on the sides for cooling breezes. The venue has wine barrel cocktail tables with market umbrellas and a wine barrel bar. Also, lawn games are available for enjoyment. The DJ and dancing are all under romantic market lights on a dedicated dance floor adjacent to the tent. The tent is magnificent at night as it is framed in a perimeter of lights with cool chandeliers.

The overall vibe and style of this all-outdoor country venue is relaxed and homey. Weddings, birthday parties, bridal showers or any social event will be perfect. Some of the special features of Bluestone Meadow are the chickens, goats and alpacas in a nearby corral area. A very cool 1931 Ford Model A Roadster can bring the bride and dad down from the estate house to the ceremony. And bonus ~ the staff sets up the tables and chairs for the ceremony and the reception. Double bonus is the renter gets full weekend use (Friday deliveries and rehearsal through Sunday for pick up… such convenience!)

Brides have access to a fully equipped bride’s room in the main house. In addition, the bridal party can use the entire downstairs of the main house for preparation. Grooms can get ready in the barn fully equipped with a bathroom and refrigerator providing them with their own space prior to the wedding.
