El Macero Country Club is a wonderful venue located in Davis, California, just minutes from downtown Sacramento and the airport. An established full-service country club, which means beautifully manicured lawns, a wonderful clubhouse, exceptional

cuisine, and professional staff. But they are also “a relaxed country club” and will work with you to individualize your wedding or event.

Let’s begin with the outdoor spaces, which would naturally be perfect for a wedding ceremony, but just as lovely for any outdoor celebration. Since El Macero is a championship 18-hole golf club, there are meandering, paved paths throughout, and the greens and established trees are immaculate. There are wonderful photo opportunities around every bend.

There are several ceremony options. Adjacent to the Clubhouse is the The Oaks. The 100+ year majestic oak grove provides an amazing visual canopy plus shade for your guests. There is also a wooden arch, which can be adorned to the client’s preference making a lovely ceremony backdrop. And there are many more ceremony spots, including the Ceremony Pond on Hole 7.

Another outdoor option is the Pool Deck. We like this spot for cocktails after the ceremony or dinner al fresco or dancing the night away. Also, it’s already set with market lighting, casting a romantic glow for evening events. It would be a wonderful spot for a party or social gathering ~ so much fun!

The Banquet Room has picturesque views of the golf course and 18^th hole. It has large sliding glass doors opening to a nice patio for an indoor/outdoor option. The Banquet Room has been updated so it’s modern, yet neutral, and looks good with many styles and color selections. We love pretty, customizable rooms! It’s also climate controlled so your guests will be comfy any time of year. El Macero will provide tables, chairs, linens, place settings, appetizers and food ~ see, full service! You can personalize the linen colors and bring in your own florals and décor to create the exact look you’d like.

Another great room is the Clubhouse bar and restaurant. This space has been updated with a fun, mid-century modern feel – think Palm Springs vibe. The light fixtures are fabulous! The bar and restaurant can be made available with a clubhouse buyout, adding more space and giving you complete privacy for the entirety of your event.

El Macero is super accommodating and they have so much on location for your use: 2 sets of outdoor lounge furniture, multiple firepits, outdoor iron patio chairs and tables, outdoor umbrellas, a rolling bar…just to name a few!
