Just 40 minutes south of downtown Sacramento is a charming venue that’s perfect for an outdoor spring, summer, or fall wedding or event.  Grace Vineyards is situated in the Lodi Wine Region and very near the quaint town of Galt.  Grace is the total package.  The gorgeous private estate can be fitting for most brides as it has a southern colonial mansion, rows and rows of vineyards, a reception tent, it’s adjacent to a golf course, and there are even some rustic “red barn” out-buildings on the property which are perfect for the “rustic charm” photo backdrop.  Let’s start with the ceremony garden.  It’s green and lush, bordered by a vineyard on one side and giant redwoods and pines, shrubs, and florals around the perimeter.  There is a permanent brick aisle and a landing with a lovely wrought iron and white columned gazebo, so there is no need to add much decor…it’s already beautiful.

Anchoring the backyard is a tranquil swimming pool with a center fountain.  On the opposite side of the swimming pool, across from the ceremony garden, is the tasting room and patio, which makes for a perfect bar and cocktailing space, and later a fun dancefloor.  Grace Vineyards grows and bottles 5 varietals of wine for your guests to enjoy… and most couples like to join the wine club and continue receiving bottles on a quarterly basis.  The crowning touch to this venue is the permanent garden tent with the golf course backdrop. Italian market lights line the tent, and it can also be customized with additional fabric swagging and chandeliers for those who want a more formal look.

The venue rental includes tables and several options for chairs.  Since the owners have 20+ years experience serving the Sacramento crowd as caterers, the in-house catering has many options and includes all of your linens, china and glassware.  This venue is very inclusive and they take care of many of the details, making it a low-stress option and also budget friendly, considering all that you receive.  Be sure to head south when doing your site visits and research, because Grace Vineyards is one spot you need to see!
