Spring Ranch is perfect for a wedding on the bluffs of the Pacific Ocean, with views “for days”. Photo ops are abundant with the background of Mendocino and coastal landscape. There are also awesome old barns along the walk from the Ranch to the ocean bluffs ceremony site. Another ceremony option is the amazing Eucalyptus Grove. Let’s break down the spaces to be enjoyed at Spring Ranch.
The Wedding Barn – Originally it was an 1840’s hay barn that the owner found in Canada, rescued from demolition and moved in sections to re-assemble at Spring Ranch. It is gorgeous! A tasteful collection of antiques collected from around the world are perfectly displayed. Large chandeliers glow in the handsome original wood interior with brick floors, creating a warm and romantic ambiance. The second floor of the barn, is referred to somewhat as a museum. So many interesting antiques to poke around and study. Guests love to explore this floor and it’s a great space for the men prior to the ceremony. We’d call it a perfect “man cave” complete with a bar with scotch, ports or craft beers.
The Wedding Barn Patio – Just through the massive barn doors is a large patio anchored by a huge stone fireplace. The staff even stocks wood for use in building a glorious evening fire. This is the perfect lounge spot. Market Lights overhead, vintage wrought iron wood fencing surrounding, and the sounds of the breezes through the eucalyptus trees is heaven. Dine al fresco or use the patio space your dance floor and lounge – there are options.
Carriage Barn Loft/Honeymoon Suite – A few yards from the Wedding Barn is the honeymoon suite which is as charming as can be. The second floor is the couple’s own apartment space, with a fireplace, views out to the ocean cliffs, a kitchenette, cute bathroom and the most comfortable antique bed frame awaiting a tired couple. This is pure bliss!
The Grand Victorian – What a beauty! It’s an elegant Victorian built and added on to starting in the 1840’s to create a 5,500 square foot home. It is filled with fantastic antiques and modern comfortable furniture. It can sleep a total of 21, with different bed configurations. There are 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a beautiful dining room, and great kitchen to create your meals. And to add to this luxury, there is a hot tub to enjoy with a supply of towels. Imagine coastal weather, stars, breezes and a hot tub. See our Blog post for more details!
